Tickets are now available for this year's UK Music Hall of Fame event, to be held at London's Alexandra Palace on November 16th, and screened on Channel4 the following night. The event was launched last year but this is the first time that you and I, the members of the Great British public can go along.

This event ain't cheap though as a reserved ticket is £75, and that's before the booking fees and postage is added, but for your money you do get an all star line up the likes of which you will rarely see.

Those performing on the night include Ozzy Osbourne, Alanis Morissette, The Pretenders, Jamie Cullum, New Order and The Eurythmics. One of the star attractions of the evening will be a supergroup led by Slash in honouring Jimi Hendrix.

Those being added to the Hall of Fame will include Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, The Kinks, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Joy Division/New Order, John Peel and Aretha Franklin.

A panel of sixty broadcasters, journalists, artists and general music industry bigwigs have chosen the list that can include any act, of any nationality, as long as they've had success in the UK.

The Hall of Fame was launched last year with acts being entered including The Beatles, Queen, Michael Jackson, Elvis and controversially for some Robbie Williams.
