Fear Factory have been rumoured to play Download after making the following statement on their website. The promoters have yet to comment.

"I think they offered it but…if we’re on Download Festival on the 6th of June, then we can play Dynamo. If we’re on there on the 5th of June, we can’t. Because Dynamo is on the same date as the Download Festival. Which is stupid! Because it’s going to hurt Dynamo. All the bands that are going to be on Dynamo, you’re also going to have on the Download Festival. I heard that only Ill Nino and Chimaira are going to be on Dynamo."
