Kasabian release Empire, the title track from their second album, on July 24th. The song will have its first airing on Radio 1 at around 7.30pm that evening, and the 2 track format will immediately be available to buy in stores and online from that point on. Additional formats for the single (10" vinyl, DVD and more downloads) will be released on August 21st.
Fans can already pre-order the Empire download from www.kasabian.co.uk/heroes , and receive a free additional track straight away- Kasabian's recording of the Bowie classic Heroes, which ITV commissioned for their World Cup TV coverage.
The new album comes out on September 4th, on Columbia Records.
Kasabian have just been confirmed for a T On The Fringe show in Edinburgh on August 14th, at the Corn Exchange, and will headline the second stage at V Festival (August 19th & 20th).
