The line-up for the inaugral BBC Electric Proms is now pretty hot, the opening event on 25th October at Camden's Roundhouse will mark a week of great gigs, and Roundhouse veteran Paul Weller is all too happy to kick off proceedings, commenting:
"I've not played at the Roundhouse since 1977 so it will be quite nice to go back. I suppose it reminds me of my youth, when I first started playing in London."

The Magic Numbers will join Paul Weller, while The Roundhouse will also see performances from The Zutons supporting James Brown and The Fratellis alongside The Who.

Other events include John Peel Night with The Raconteurs, Squarepusher and The Horrors, Jamiroquai returning to his roots at Camden's Jazz Cafe and a film programme.

In true Proms style BBC One, Three and all the BBC radio stations will be involved in bringing the concerts alive for those at home, although there is still a chance to obtain some tickets by registering for a draw on the website here.
