The organisers of the Carling Weekend Festival in Leeds and Reading have announced details about a new stage that will appear at the festival this year. The Comedy and Cabaret Stage will showcase all the talent that the world of stand-up comedy can provide. Featuring big names from all over, such as Sean Lock, Tommy Tiernan and Marcus Brigstocke - or contributors to comedy greats such as Father Ted and Have I Got News For You? to you and I - the Comedy and Cabaret Stage will be a must see for when you're tired out from seeing your favourite bands.
And as if that wasn't enough, each evening the Comedy Stage will become the Late Night Cabaret Stage, with loads of events going on. Stunts from the guys from Dirty Sanchez, Punk Rock Karaoke, a live set on Thursday night for eager campers, Har Mar Superstar, and a multitude of music performances will give you no reason to sleep at all at the Carling Weekend.
