Handpicked to play this year's Glastonbury, A Silent Film were inspired by a love of classic movies like Chaplin and Keaton's works, as well as a variety of artists like Bjork and Antony And The Johnsons.
Speaking of the Glastonbury performance singer/songwriter Robert Stevenson says:
"It was a really lucky break for us, we were picked out of a selection of bands put forward by BBC Oxford just a few weeks ago. We'll take it on our shoulders if it comes knocking but right now we're happy with the freedom that comes from doing things in our own time."
The band's 'Projectionist' EP will soon be available on CD and as a download with the following tracks:
