This week our featured band is This City hailing from Brighton. The band are well thought of here at R13, with the new tracks 'We Move' (on their myspace) and 'Kids With Fireworks' (on our player) being particularly good and having hooks big enough to scare Peter Pan. Already a live favourite in their native town, the band also reached a much larger audience this year with an appearance in the latter stages of Channel 4's MobileAct Unsigned. Despite getting through to the touring stage, the band decided to pull out for artistic reasons. However, this has not hindered their progress in the slightest as they continue their surge towards the major breakthrough we believe they deserve.
