Emap’s Kerrang! 105.2 is launching a new online radio service based on its hugely successful Legends show.

Due to popular demand, the West Midlands-based rock music station, which launched in June, is creating Kerrang! Radio Legends as an online spin-off.

Kerrang! Radio Legends is available from October 10th via the Kerrang! Radio website (www.kerrangradio.co.uk) and will be dedicated to playing round-the-clock classic tracks from Rock’s back catalogue.

Legends will feature music from bands such as Black Sabbath, The Who, Guns n Roses, AC-DC, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Queen and The Rolling Stones.

Kerrang! 105.2’s programme director Andrew Jeffries, said: “Legends has been a great success on Kerrang! 105.2 so we have responded to the massive Legends’ fanbase by providing them with a dedicated service featuring this awesome catalogue - non stop.

“This is a major step forward in the evolution and development of the Kerrang! Radio Network. While we continue providing all genres of rock for our Kerrang! 105.2 listeners – this is an extra service for classic rock fans and lets listeners outside of the West Midlands get a taster of what they are missing!"
