It’s been quite a wait, with release date after release date being confirmed, then passing with no sign of an actual album, but it would seem finally Guns N’ Roses 'Chinese Democracy’ will be out next month.

HMV have announced the record will be available from November 24, with the retailer listing the following tracks for the LP.

'Chinese Democracy'
'Scraped'
'Shackler's Revenge'
'Street Of Dreams'
'If The World'
'Better'
'This I Love'
'There Was A Time'
'Riad N' The Bedovins'
'Sorry'
'I.R.S.'
'Catcher'
'Madagascar'
'Prostitute’

The title track has been given it’s radio debut today in the US, and here in the UK by Radio 1.

Estimations of how much the album has cost to make vary, but are reported to be in the region of $13 million (£6.5 million).

Other stories to circulate while the world waited to hear some music included a rumoured
reality TV show, an
album trilogy and
track leeks.

Axl Rose and friends have of course played live in the UK during the time it has taken for the album to reach a state of readiness, with arena shows which included
Axl visiting the Teenage Cancer Trust hospital in London, a contrivercial performance at the Leeds Festival where the band were late and trouble broke out on site, and
this set at Download.

Whether you’ve lost the will to live regarding this record, or are hoping for a return to form, there’s no doubt it will be intriguing to hear what it actually sounds like.
