The Gypsy duo of James Duncan and Michael Teo, from London’s Uber-cool The Fancy Toys follow up the successful single ‘Gypsy Eyes’ with ‘You And Me’.
What you will always get with the band are happy tunes that you can hum and whistle along to, and this one is no different. ‘You And Me’ is packed so tightly with harmonies that it could explode with jolly joyfulness at any moment. The duel vocals work well with some nice flashes of spoken fashion observations. It’s a fast tempo track with predominantly vocals and guitar, giving a gentle sing-along feel. It borders on a catchy Eurovision song that you enjoy like a guilty pleasure.
