Hits from the song

Weezer have been labelled many things from 'Geek rock', and Indie, to
'Lazy pop/punkers', and 'A-thinking-man's rock', but whatever you think, Weezer bring forth a slightly different style with some already classic songs like, 'Buddy Holly', 'The Sweater Song', 'Hash Pipe', and most recently the sing-along hit 'Beverly Hills'.

'We Are All On Drugs', is another catchy mid tempo affair which starts with the lyrics, "When you're out with your friends/ in your new Mercedes Benz/ And you're on drugs...", and has chugging, no messing guitars with Rivers Cuomo's distinctive strained vocals. However, Mr Cuomo is quick to point out that, "This is not a pro-drugs song," but tells the tale of the self-indulgences of those who do part-take in the narcotic exploits of life, or in Rivers' own words, "...people cruising and partying, and hooting and hollering", although that sounds like an average Friday night down my local B&Q car park, folks.

Be sure to try and catch the video for this song. Although there's not the ingenious cut and paste shenanigans that saw our favourite stars from 'Happy Days' interacting with the band, nor the voluptuous cameos of Hugh Hefner's lady friends, or even Kermit The Frog, we do have a 70's rock/Mad Max style video with a Monty Python twist.

Weezer give us another release from the hugely successful album 'Make Believe', and just keep on getting better.
