A-Ha Shake Hit

Rising stars Kings Of Leon return to the spotlight with their gorgeously crafted new track ‘The Bucket.’ Having reached such acclaimed heights with their previous album, ‘Youth And Young Manhood’, the band now prepare for the release of their follow up ‘A-Ha Shake Heartbreak’ on 1st November.

‘The Bucket’ is instantly distinguishable from previous releases. The big hair and beards are back but this time they're accompanied by a track laid down in expert fashion. The quintessential, easy-going, ‘good time’ guitar riffs are still very much in place. The verse has you singing along, and lapping up the ambience of the lullaby chorus will leave it in your head for the next week. Overall it’s the perfect blend of indie drums, cheerful guitar riffs and up-lifting lyrics.

B-side ‘Where Nobody Knows’ starts in a more mellow manner. It sidles along in the chilled-out manner which comes naturally with the Kings Of Leon. The lyrics sound like they are just tumbling effortlessly out as the guitars sway. There is a distinct impression from these two tracks that summer is dead, but not buried.
