A Call To Arms

ASBO generation beware, Scully have had enough and are out seeking revenge, preferably with the aid of a baseball bat. Making the Kaiser Chiefs' 'I Predict A Riot' sound like the theme tune to Postman Pat, 'Who's A Terrorist Now?' is a call to arms with the same ethos as Pulp's 'Mis Shapes'; push us too far and we will push back.

A dark and dirty guitar riff kicks off proceedings accompanied by an almost military march drumbeat before all hell breaks lose and vocals reminiscent of Paul Weller in the days of The Jam take command of the entire song. Having suffered too long at the hands of petty criminals only for no punishment to be handed out, Scully are calling for people to "Fight! Fight!" with anger fuelled lyrics powering the aggressively charged sound of 'Who's A Terrorist Now?'

'In Good Time' offers a slightly more jovial side to Scully, fully equipped with raucous rock riffs and showing that they are not merely riot rousers. With the anger led swagger of Kasabian and the social awareness punk edge of The Jam, Scully posses a combination that makes them a force to be reckoned with, suggesting they are certainly not a band to be overlooked.
