Insane Genius With A Devilish Charm

Part unhinged genius, part sultry seducer, Yorkshire man Jonjo Feather confuses, terrifies and delights all within a quick wave of fuzzed out distortion. At just 19 Jonjo is perhaps a tad too young to be labelled with the eccentric tag but considering that his music is created in a barn by soldering microphones to old telephone receivers, its fair to say that this is a strange young man • strangely intriguing and thrillingly talented.

Laden with fuzzed out goodness that swims around Jonjo’s nonchalant hushed husk of a voice that chillingly exudes a air of sultry sexiness, ‘I Suppose’ bristles with a threateningly sinister thumping beat heightened by Jonjo’s addictively terrifying voice that refuses to radiate anything but sheer coolness. Like Queens Of The Stone Age being hijacked by The Eels, ‘I Suppose’ unleashes a blues ridden hunk of rock sprinkled with a touch of insanity that makes for an irresistibly seductive track.

Toning things down somewhat, B side ‘Face By Your Window’ continues to offer a sense of ominous foreboding tucked beneath a gentle tender side as Jonjo’s haunting voice sweeps over layered melodies that intoxicate with each breath. Think Jeff Buckley with a touch of John Lennon.

Insane genius or devilish charmer? Wither way Jonjo Feather is someone who will capture and fascinate all before long.
