Indie cash machine's Hard-Fi pay out

It's been a pretty amazing year for Staines other entertainers Hard-Fi, and this catchy little single will surely cement them in the hearts of the record buying public. Starting off slowly and gently, it's only when the vocals of Richard Archer jump in that we are drawn in to the complex everyday tomfoolery that goes on in a Cash Machine - if you get a chance to see the video for this then do so. Produced by the acclaimed director, Dougal Wilson, famed for his work with such artists as The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and LCD Sound System, the video is well and truly genius, proving once and for all that there are little men behind the wall busily working hard to give you your hard earned cash!

With great lyrics like, 'What am I gonna do?// my girlfriend's just turned blue' and simple music, the song never gets too caught up in itself by trying to be too clever. The chorus sounds like a very gritty Maroon 5, and will hook you straight away.

With just under a quarter of a million sales of their debut album, 'Stars Of CCTV', a completed 17 date sold out tour, and a date in France and two sold out nights in Japan, and adding nominations at the Mercury Awards and Q Awards respectfully, Hard-Fi are here to prove once and for all that indie bands can rock, and they are slowly climbing to the dizzy heights that they deserve.
