Biography

TJ Miller - vocals
Jordan Whelan - guitars
Evan Willey - bass
Zach Roth - keyboards
AJ Barette - drums

TJ Miller, Jordan Whelan and Zach Roth all played in a band called Shades of Amber. Not happy with the path it was taking the guys decided to recruit bassist Evan Willey who was at the time in a band called Unition and drummer AJ Barette. Thus Still Remains was formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan around 2001 playing metal influenced by Metallica and Deftones.
Touring began and the band eagerly gained young fans on the Christian Rock scene who were willing to spend their cash on the band's merch rather than beer. The band then hooked up with manager Mark Lafay and things started taking off. An E.P was released in summer 2004 'If Love Was Born To Die' with only limited distribution through Benchmark records (better known for country music than metal!) yet over 5,000 copies were sold. Roadrunner A&R man Mike Gitter got hold of this and signed them up. Bringing in producer GGGarth (Rage Against The Machine, Kittie) for their next album, 'Of Love and Lunacy'was released May 2005. read less
