Whilst most kids their age are terrifying society with their youthful antics or boasting about their latest ASBO, Kent quartet Linchpin are causing a stir amongst the music industry. At the tender age of sixteen these guys are gaining praise from the likes of Good Charlotte's Madden twins and none other than Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, a far cry from their mates who have to make do at watching their idols from afar.
So, do they deserve the praise or are they simply flavour of the month? Latest single 'All I Want' is a sugar plastered shovel load of unadulterated pop punk that sheds layer upon layer of energetic beats and lively guitar riffs guaranteed to have you idiotically singing along with their Good Charlotte brand of melodically bouncy pop punk. Boasting a chorus striving for mammoth proportions and a heap of cheery beats, 'All I Want' is a dose of rock fun to enjoy for what it is; pop punk at it sugary coated best.
