The Dykeenies- Stitches

The Dykeenies have exploded on our scene, as have many indie new wave rock bands, but these guys have entered with something a little more exciting. Something a little more real- passion in their writing, intensity in their performance, aggression in their act. The new single Stitches, out the 10th of this month is no different, with debut album "Nothing means everything" hitting the shops on the 17th September.

The Scottish five some- consisting of three brothers and two school buddies, have produced an uplifting, adoring release, sparking mass singalongs at live venues throughout the country. It is most definitely a candidate for fans favourite- reminiscent of growing up and jam packed of youthful exuberance- the qualities and angles I hope the album release will fulfill. Produced by Dave Eringa (Manic Street preachers, Idlewild), The Dykeenies have grabbed at your heart strings with this personal and emotionally in touch single. Live dates throughout the country are being played all this month- celebrating the release of the debut, beginning and ending at London Water Rats. I can hear the chanting already. Looking forward to the album release.
