A gentle bow out!

Milton Keynes ska/punkers, Capdown give as another single, 'No Matter What', along with the news that they are to call it a day after 10 years and 4 albums. This is the third single from their current album, 'Wind Up Toys' which was released earlier this year through Fierce Panda Records.

'No Matter What' is slightly more gentle indie/ska than the likes of previous single, 'Surviving The Death Of A Genre' that had a more anthem feel to it with a big chorus. 'No Matter What' is a gentle plodding party song that floats along at the same tempo for the whole song, a little more acoustic than some of Capdown's other big songs, but still with a twist of their brand of ska-flava.

We also have a b-side in the form of live song, 'Community Service ' which is much more in your face, showing more of what you would've have experienced had you seen the band live, with the vocals sounding a little more raspy than normal.

All in all this is a gentle single package as the lads bow out after a farewell tour has been completed, even if the final date of their hometown of Milton Keynes was cancelled due to licensing issues over the huge demand for tickets. The band's MySpace page insists that this gig will be re-scheduled so look out for your last chance to see Capdown perform! Another one bites the proverbial
