The hits keep coming!

Go:Audio have the ability to pen catchy Pop/Rock songs that are memorable and dripping with melodies, that you find it hard to believe that they are British. Following on from their successful EP ‘Woodchuck’ and first single, ‘Made Up Stories’ comes their second single, ‘She Left Me’.

Go:Audio have found the formula to a great rock song and the truth is that of the lead EP song and the previous single it’s hard to pick a favourite which bodes well for the forth coming album release. ‘She Left Me’ is pretty self-explanatory in regards to the song content, and is a nicer version of The Vandals, ‘My Girlfriend’s Dead’, with a guy not wanting to admit that his girlfriend has left him, so he lies to anyone who asks of his girlfriends whereabouts. This single has the band’s signature piano keys, chugging guitars and big beats ensuring we have Pop/Punk with a capital POP. Currently on tour with McFly (as well as their own headline tour) and having already toured with Scouting For Girls, these are two bands that if mixed together could sound like Go:Audio, and whilst they are as catchy as McFly, they are arguably not as embarrassing to admit to liking!

I’m never one to rush at quoting other publications, however Kerrang! does suggest that we should “Say hello to your new favourite band”, and on the back of the singles, it’s pretty hard to disagree…
