New Material Galore
After a noteable silence, lostprophets have returned. New material is flowing, the album is set to be released at the begining of the new year and a headline tour has been announced for next year. It may have been 18 months of silence since their debut and follow-up singles - but they're back.
For a support act, as part of an arena tour, with only one album under your belt and another not even released - it would be normal practice to play the first album. lostprophets decide that this is not neccessary and play most of an album that the audience have never heard before.
Their first two singles, especially 'The Fake Sound of Progress', are received extremely well and the Linkin Park fans jump up and down almost as excitedly as if they were hearing 'One Step Closer'. All of the material is played well and parts of the new material are received extremely well. The problem is that this is the wrong forum for a new album showcasing.
