Million Dead
In the last 12 months Million Dead have been nominated for Best Newcomers at last years K! Awards, released their debut album and undertaking numerous tours. If tonight's gig represents a glimpse of the next year then its quite possible that 2004 will be an even better year for the band.
From the start of the set the presence of the band can be felt throughout the venue and everyone that had been sitting bored for the first two sets suddenly rises to their feet. The 11-song set begins as powerfully as it continues.
For those of you that have not had the chance to listen to Million Dead, it can be quite hard to categorise them. They fit somewhere between indie and metal and create a unique sound with soaring vocals reminiscent of At The Drive In and melodically pounding bass lines that stay with you.

New material is played as well as most of their debut album 'A Song To Ruin', however when their latest single is played the crowd quite literally go wild - all trying to touch Frank Turner. The entire room is filled with the emotion of the crowd which adds to the entire performance.

This four-piece London based band have been together for under three years - yet you would never know. They play together as if they've been touring as a group for most of their lives. The energy and passion that they put in to their sets makes them worth watching and you won't be disappointed.
