Rammed

For only a few months the Arctic Monkeys have been together and have taken the country by storm. With recent sell out dates and ticket touts taking £50 a ticket, there have been rumours about the band for the whole weekend.

Despite the fact that they've only released one single so far, the Carling Stage has twice its capacity trying to fit into the tent. Ten minutes before the band walk onto the stage they've already drawn a crowd that surrounds the tent as far as the eye can see.

From the off, Arctic Monkeys distinguish themselves from any of the other indie bands playing this weekend and with their set taking the crowd by storm it would be unsurprising if the Artic Monkeys are somewhere far larger than the Carling Stage in a year from now. Hypnotic bass lines, catchy guitar riffs and vocals that make you want to bellow your lungs out, Arctic Monkeys are one band you should certainly keep an eye on at all times.
