The Stanley Blacks – The Good Time Guide Stage @ Guilfest Saturday
After helping OC star Mischa Barton out of a spot of mechanical bother earlier this year in LA (a story which oddly made it into Heat Magazine), The Stanley Blacks were back on home territory and performed Guilfest for the second consecutive year.
Performing to the inflatable Good Time Guide Stage audience Saturday afternoon, The Stans (as they are often referred) delighted both old and new fans with their rock alternative Killers-esque sound.
Opening the set with Caroline, the Woking-based quartet performed other favourites Canary and Time To Wonder, before ending with MySpace favourite Glow. The Stans blitzed through a solid and entertaining mid afternoon set and why they have not yet made the main stage is a question certain to be answered next time round.
