The most varied and intriguing festival of the summer returns next weekend, as Latitude once again sets up camp in Suffolk.

The popularity of this event has grown to a point where this year it has long since sold out, and Room Thirteen will once again be heading East to bring you coverage from the event.

This preview has stage details for the four main arenas, plus a collection of previous R13 reviews for some of those on the line up.

Alongside the music, Latitude has the following:

Cabaret Arena: Titillation and torment from the cream of Europe's cabaret acts, plus Pandora’s Playground for hands-on uninhibited fun.

Literary Arena: Packed full of top authors including Simon Armitage, Hanif Kureishi, Irvine Welsh and Iain Banks as well as Latitude favourites; Vox ‘N’ Roll, Word Theatre and The Early Edition with Marcus Brigstocke. Robin Ince returns to host book readings from fellow comics, writers and performers.

Theatre Arena: From West End to new writing, to Latitude bespoke shows and not to mention Edinburgh Fringe warm ups.

Comedy Arena: By day featuring Ross Noble, Russell Howard, Lucy Porter, Bill Bailey and Rich Hall, nd by night Sean Rowley's ‘Guilty Pleasures’.

Music & Film Arena: Award winning short films, silent films, art, and visuals, stylishly accompanied by live music, dancers and DJs.

Poetry Arena: Poetry and comedy alongside Hip Hop, slam poets, bizarre raconteurs, spoken word, lyricism, storytelling, rappers, and much much more.

In The Woods: As night falls the woods become a whole new world - following the sounds and cheers you'll find hidden late night parties.

…And we haven’t even mentioned the multi-coloured sheep yet!
